As much as the Viña Tondonia tintos are heralded, perhaps the blanco reservas are the most sought after. Six years in used American oak, followed by long cellaring in bottle, a wine that requires patience upon uncorking, allowing air to bring out the most tropical aromas, yielding to nutty and floral sensations. Tightly coiled, a textural marvel, rich, creamy, and tannic.  Mushroom, toasty with good acidity, youthful, exuberant and intense – a dynamo.
