Appearance: Clear. Pale garnet red.

Nose: Clean. Medium intense spicy & smokey aromas.

Palate: Dry. Medium-bodied. Silky soft & elegantly matured red fruit, mushroom & tobacco flavors with a finish that is dry.

Vinification: From a 125-year-old family-owned winery, maintaining its own cooperage. Wines are hand harvested, fermented in oak, racked twice yearly, fined & bottled unfiltered. From a warmer vintage, made in a traditional, Rioja style.

Recommended Food Pairings: Spicy lamb & lentil with fresh herbs.
