225 is one of our top gastronomic Cavas due to the long ageing, more than 40 months.
Also for the grape varieties, such as Macabeo, Xarel.lo and Parellada, all of them from our own and old vineyards. Xarel.lo wine is aged in 225 litters oak barrels, giving subtle and elegant notes, such as vanilla, cinnamon or smoky notes. Bubbles are small due to the long aging, being completely integrated into the wine.
This Cava goes perfectly with elaborate and structured dishes such as: roast beef, lamb chops, roast duck, spicy dishes, barbecued vegetables, game and pasta with sauce.
