  • Variety: Mencia.

    Appearance: Bright ruby.

    Nose: Strawberry, red licorice & subtly floral.

    Palate: Bitter cherry & other red fruit notes with black pepper& gravellly tannins.

    Vinification: From old mencia vines, 60-80 years old, farmed bio-dynamically. Whole cluster fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts. Aged 12 months in 300L barriques. Vinified without the use of sulfites.

    Recommended Food Pairing: Fowl, turkey or duck.
