Nose: Clean. Medium intense stone fruit, pear & apple aromas with subtle floral notes.
Palate: Dry. Light bodied with rich citrus & white fruit notes, vibrant acidity & pronounced minerality.
Vinification: Produced in limited quantities from a single vineyard planted in 1972, located in the Val do Salnes subzone. Fermented & aged in 750 liter French oak for 12 months. He's used the same barrel for this wine since his first vintage of this wine so the wine has begun to influence the barrel more than the barrel the wine, which in turn makes each new vintage more characteristic of itself. There have been vintages in which small amounts of Sketch have been aged at sea as well, in order for Perez to fully understand the benefits of anaerobic aging on albariño.
