Vermouth culture is taking hold of NYC (and beyond) and we could not be more thrilled. This bottle comes from a very old, historical winery in Alicante (near Valencia) on the Mediterranean coast. Made from high-quality Monastrell wine as a base with a secret family recipe of herbs and spices which make this a knockout to sip on, over ice. Not so much sweet as juicy and fruit-forward, with a touch of baking spice, slight bitter herbs, and a nice hint of oxidation. All around complex, layered and intriguing. Grab some blood oranges as garnish and sip with a tapa of Don Bocarte Cantabrian Anchovy fillets.
