Nose: Clean. Pronounced notes of mature black fruits on the nose with focused ripe fruit aromas.
Palate: Dry. Ripe, round tannins, with good acidity and a long finish. Smokey & spicy notes on the mouth. Full-bodied.
Vinification: From Tinta de Toro, planted in low producing sandstone and clay soil. From 100-year-old, biodynamically farmed vines. Aged 16 months in new French oak after being fermented and macerated in concrete for three weeks.
