Mas Candi "Desig" 2018

  • Variety: Xarel-lo.

    Appearance: Clear. Aged gold in color.

    Nose: Clean. Medium (+) intense. Herbaceous & floral with pear & orchard fruit notes.

    Palate: Dry. Light-bodied. Expressive & complex orchard fruit notes with good minerality. Finishes with a pleasant bittler note.

    Vinification: Produced by a small, Catalonian wine collective which focus on indigenous varietals. Hand harvested from 50-year-old Xarel-lo vines. Aged on its lees with battonage for 7 months.

    Recommended Food Pairing: Catalan style cod with raisins & pine nuts.
