Vinification: Produced by the visionary Danish winemaker Peter Sisseck. In many respects Flor mirrors Pingus itself, with similarly high standards of winemaking. The sixteen vineyard lots were selected at their optimum maturity and then vinified separately in sixteen 4000 liter stainless steel tanks. The malolactic was made in French oak barrels and Flor de Pingus was aged nineteen months in one-year old French barrels.
Recommended Food Pairing: Ribeye steaks, roasted lamb, or chorizo.
