Nose: Clean. Medium intense orange blossom & honey aromas with subtle oak notes.
Palate: Full-bodied. Dry, stony & persistently long in its finish. Soft cinnamon & marmalade, citrus & orchard fruit flavors that evolve into a spicy, honeyed finish.
Vinification: From 100-year-old vines of a nearly extinct varietal; grown 3,000 feet above the Mediterranean. Typically used as a blending grape, this wine resembles a Chardonnay or Viognier. Aged 12 months in French oak & acacia wood barrels.
Recommend Food Pairing: Chicken coconut soup.
