Equipo Navazos La Bota de Amontillado 69 “Magnum”

  • Variety: Palomino Fino.

    Appearance: Clear. Amber.

    Nose: Clean. Pronounced toasted hazelnuts with a saline quality.

    Palate: “Very easy and drinkable Amontillado displaying a creamy palate with caramel and aromatic herbs notes. It also has a lovely sharp marine sea shells character” - Importer.

    Vinification: An amontillado from Sanlucar (in the same lineage as previous releases No.37, 58) sourced from a “cozy part of the bodega” particularly a magnificent tonel gordo (120 arrobas, i.e. 2000 liters). This single big cask was filled with a selection of the best amontillado, of the house. Refreshed with a moderate proportion of the extraordinary manzanilla pasada from Misericordia. The resulting wine has aged a few more years in such unique place until the contents of the tonel has been bottled for this release.
    Average age is 17-18 years. Production: 1100 magnums (no 750ml).
