One of the only uniquely red wines from the Bakio region of the Basque Country. 100% Hondarribi Beltza grapes from a 2-hectare plot (with some vines over 100 years) farmed organically on clay soils. The wines are fermented using indigenous yeasts in stainless steel. These wines are full of character - brambly dark berries, taught acidity, pink peppercorns, floral red currants, and very similar to Loire Valley Cabernet Franc. Serve cool with Fermín Salchichón Ibérico for an incredible pairing.
