  • Varieties: 99% Tempranillo & 1% Garnacha.

    Appearance: Clear. Deep, inky purple in color.

    Nose: Clean. Pronounced exotic aromas of aromatic herbs, incense, lavender, violet & dark berry preserves.

    Palate: Dry. Full-bodied. Broad, big & bold on the palate. Bitter cherry & dark raspberry flavors with wood notes, ripe blueberry jam & subtle vanilla.

    Vinification: From different, estate owned, plots located in the Rioja Alavesa with different soils & microclimates. Hand harvested; goes through a double selection process & destemmed before fermentation. Aged in new French oak for 18 months.

    Recommended Food Pairing: Lamb & broccoli stew.
