Nose: Clean. Aromatically pronounced & purely expressive of red berries, licorice, and aromatic herbs.
Palate: Dry, with a medium-body. Light, candied red cherry skin notes. Tasty & easy to drink.
Vinification: This wine uses the Mandó grape, which is indigenous to the area of Valencia. From 15-year-old vines planted in clay & sandy loam, farmed sustainably. Hand harvested, fermented with natural yeast in tank with 12 days of maceration & aged 4 months in amphorae.
Recommended Food Pairing: An excellent pair for BBQ.
