  • A new wine owned by one of our Sherry loves, Bodegas Barbadillo, however inspired by the tallest mountain in the Pyrenees found in DO Somontano. Named after Aneto, a peak that rises to a dizzying altitude of 3,404 meters (hence the name of the wine) the wine is a blend of Garnacha (for fruit and body), Cabernet Sauvignon (for structure and earth), and a rare grape of the region called Moristel (for a little peppery kick). Aged in stainless steel, it is meant for youthful consumption and enjoyment. The perfect kind of wine for tomato-garlic based sauces, roasted chicken thighs with sage and herbs, or a parsnip and potato gratin.
