Palate: Dry, unctuous, and unrelenting. This is a muscular panther that will both allure you and leave its mark on your tastebuds. Dusty cacao, toasted praline, and hints of toasted orange rind.
Vinification: A rare, limited older bottling of Oloroso from historic sherry producer Barbadillo. Originates from old American oak barrels nestled in traditional criaderas that date back over 100 years and a minimum of 30 years old. Despaña is one of the first places in the US to carry this legendary sherry and it is strongly urged not to be missed. Only 6 (6-packs) came over from Spain.
Recommended Food Pairing: Shiitake risotto with black truffles and Guanciale.
