Mahara is the first wine made from the two brothers Miguel and Jose (we also carry Amorro from them too!). 100% Tintilla de Rota from an organic 20 year old vineyard in Cadiz (Jerez). Fermented in polyester deposit and aged in amphoras for 15 months. Medium-bodied, incredibly soft and smooth on the palate. Earth, mellow red-berries, and some minerality that comes through on the finish (it is afterall grown in Albariza soil). Produced naturally, with no sulfites, so it could benefit a slight chill and served with anything from pork & veal meatballs, burgers, even a heavier grilled fish or lobster would work nicely with this.
