A flagship Ribera del Duero from this very iconic producer. Made entirely using Tempranillo grapes and aged for 18 months in American (225-litre barrels of American oak (from Missouri, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Minnesota). These new barrels are fine-grained and medium-charred ) and French oak barrels. This is an intensely dark cherry-red wine, with a high level of aromatic intensity provided by well-ripened black fruits, graphite, floral touches and well-integrated oak on the background. Long finish, harmonious, elegant and enduring in the mouth. Perfect on a cold night and a rib-eye steak.
